Seed & Growth of online companies and companies online presence

During the last couples of years I have been involved in 2 new start ups. It has been – and still is – very enjoyable. Especially working with a much younger generation of digital born is exciting. There is a lot of talent and potential – and I have been impressed more than once by the young mens professionalism and achievements. (As I am impressed by the 16 and 17 old youngsters on BBC’s Young Apprentice).

Digital recruitment services

XYW are guiding companies online and on social media in their search for young talent and are founders of: www.work.dk - www.elevplads.dk - www.fritidsjob.dk - www.ungnyt.dk (jobs and education).

In Denmark the maritime business is an important contributor to the Danish economi. Søfartens Ledere, organising Danish sea officers has founded a global job portal, job2sea.com for maritime professionals at sea and ashore. Being “on board” is a really interesting voyage.

Entrepreneurship

I want to support the hard work and enthusiasm of entrepreneurs and also make it a valid and prestigious career choice and became board member of Danish Association of Entrepreneurs in 2011. I have watched and followed Dragons Den (and the us version Shark Tank) for several years and find it/them quite inspiring.

Business Development and Training 

I earn my living by consulting, training and business development. Right now I am part of Inqurio,  a team developing government 2.0 software solutions.

Sales and turn-over

I have been sales- and product director at a company developing online recruitment software during which time the company grew from 4 to 150 employees and from a turn-over from next to nothing to a multi-million euro company with offices in Britain, Germany, Sweden and Norway.
